Fall Streetwear

My first official fall look of 2019! I talked a little bit about the up and coming designer Kimberly Taylor in my “Little Slip Dress” post. This cropped sweatshirt is another one of her pieces that makes for a great transitional top that can be taken from a casual look to a dressy one. It can be worn as a set with the matching Zuri Legging to keep things comfy but stylish. The fabric of this drawstring sweatshirt (and the leggings which I also own) is soft and thick which are nice and comfortable.

LSD: Little Slip Dress

The LBD, Little Black Dress, has a cousin that’s trending these days…the LSD. Not THAT LSD, the Little Slip Dress. The slip dress actually isn’t a new trend, it’s been around for decades. This silky, feminine silhouette has been flaunted by the likes of Marylin Monroe in the ’50s, Naomi Campbell in the ’90s, and now by your favorite Instagram girls on your feed.

Pretty in Pink and Floral

It’s officially fall, but if you know anything about Houston, TX that doesn’t mean pull out the sweaters and boots quite yet. Houstonians still get to wear those summer outfits we didn’t get to. Since this is my first post, these photos were taken when the temps were much warmer than they are today (we’re actually supposed to have a “cold front” in a couple of days). As hot as it gets in Houston, it’s always hard for me to let go of summer so it was only logical for my first post to be an ode to summer.
