Hi guys! It’s been a minute hasn’t it…my bad! I think we can all say a lot has happened in 2020. We almost had World War III, innocent lives perished on a commercial flight out of Iran, we lost Kobe Bryant and his sweet daughter, and now we’ve all been locked up because of the Novel Coronavirus😖.
If you know a little bit about my background, I work at a hospital so things got pretty busy. So needless to say, I haven’t been “bored” during this stay at home phase and I’m grateful for that. Hopefully you and your families are safe.
Ok back to some fashion before spring flies on by. If you’re thinking this is an old outfit that I’m just getting around to post, you’ve hit the nail on the head! So let’s just get to the review!
Pants: Zara
Headed out to dinner with the fam, I really wanted to wear this Zimmermann leopard print turtle neck. Animal print never goes out of style and whenever it makes a comeback, it’s always explosive. It’s easy to style and often gives that wow factor in any season. Embrace your wild side 🐆 because animal print will continue trending for some time.
Bag: {Old} Celine
I wanted to keep things chic without trying too hard, so I opted for these faux suede taupe pants from Zara for a classic base. I love the side zip ankle detailing. A good pair of high rise skinny pants are always effortless so it was perfect for a family dinner night out.
Slipped on these classic Chanel mules and my taupe Celine box bag to be by my side. They say it’s all in the details, and no one knows it better than Chanel by adding a touch of pearl in the heel, a small detail that makes a big difference. I love a good structured bag and most are typically a top handle but the classic Celine box bag is practical yet polished over the shoulder.
Overall, the whole look is low-key monochromatic dressing with an earth tone color foundation. Taupe is one of my favorite colors to incorporate…it’s neutral and balances any look.
