It’s February!! And you know what that means…Valentine’s Day ❤
️Whether you’re headed out on a date with your beau, or headed out with the girls for a “Galentines” I’ve got you covered with some great style tips for you to mix it up this year!
While the classic reds and pink are always a go-to option, you can still be festive in the Valentine spirit in something not so predictable.

Flowers and Valentine’s are pretty synonymous, so opting for a floral print is a great alternative to an all red or pink ensemble. With hints of pink, this Dolce & Gabbana floral skirt has the perfect romantic vibe for any Valentine’s Day date.

Keeping the vibe romantic and subtle, this Ronny Kobo blouse is the feminine compliment you’re looking for. I love how the ivory color brings out the daisies in the skirt so it doesn’t get lost within the other flowers of the print. The moiré touch in the fabric also adds some texture to the overall look. The draped foulard and slightly open back make this the perfect lady-like outfit for a romantic Valentine’s date.
Since we were going with a romantic vibe here, what better way than to finish it off with a pair of black lacy baby doll shoes and a vintage Chanel tassel bag. The baby doll style of the shoes and the vintage glamour of the bag round off the the A-line silhouette of the skirt like a charm.

If you want to be sexy for your Valentine, consider a black leather skirt. While the leather provides a little edge, the asymmetrical wrap of this skirt makes it sexy.
One thing to know about me is that I love pieces with bows so this top is “so Shima” (get it?!?! 🙂 ) Even though the black leather skirt and one shoulder slightly cropped top make this a sexier look, the big bow and pleats balances the tone with some innocence.
Throwing in a touch of lace, I went with the baby doll lace pumps again. It’s quite the ladylike pump.

There’s no better way to embrace Valentine’s Day than with the color pink. Instead of it being the main shade, incorporate it as a pop of color to stay on theme.

Beret: Olivela

Currently dominating fashion trends is the paper-bag waist silhouette. Instantly add some flair, to a simple turtle neck with this popular trend to elevate any Valentine’s Day outfit.
To keep it fun and flirty, I topped off the look (literally!) with some French je ne sais quoi…a leather beret.

Planning to keep Valentines casual? Pair your favorite jeans with your reds or pinks! Skinny jeans, a silk blouse, and classic pumps make looking chic effortless. One of my favorite denim lines is Mother Denim. Not only do they offer a flattering fit, they are quite comfortable as well!

Add a vintage inspired belt, like this pearl chain one, to make an impact to the overall look.

Whatever your Valentine’s Day plans may be, take advantage of the this Holiday to have some fun with your outfit!
